Emmerdale wins best spetacular scene :)

Was checking digispy and saw they had the winners up lol a

"Emmerdale picked up one award, proving victorious in the spectacular scene category for Victoria Sugden's (Isabel Hodgkins) ice accident".

kinda sucks she didnt win for the best dramatic performance from a young actor ,that apparantly went to eastenders...
Im glad isabell got aknowleged for that scene ,cant wait to see the awards .hope she gets to give a little speech,im happy for her , no matter what im sure more awards will come her way in the future for sure

have to say im kinda suprised emmerdale didnt win more apaprantly eastenders won lots which is ::)lol but anyways

Yea just seen that as well. It's great for Isabel, and should mean we get a decent Daria scene when the awards are broadcast (Wednesday I think ). Looking forward to seeing her acceptance speech and hopefully she will give Luke a mention for his part in the scene.

It is harsh that Emmerdale only got one award, but I suppose they did better than Hollyoaks ;D

yeah hopefully we do get a nice daria scene in there conaidering its the falling though the ice episode that won the award and as we know great daria scenes as he did save her so hopefully fingers crossed there is a daria scene
oh i hope she gives hima mention too im sure she will well unless shes been told not to say anything about which i hopes not the case ,fingers crossed she does say soemthing:)

i know i was suprised hollyoaks got none as they were up for aquite a few i think anyways?. im so glad emmerdale did win that award though:)

Cannot believe she never won Dramatic performance, thought it was between her and Tom from Hollyoaks, what exactly did the one from Eastenders do, except look cute.

Hope we get a Daria scene, we may just get the part were she falls through the ice and Daz saying he would rather be dead (harsh words). wonder if she thanks Luke in her speech, depends on who went up with her, I thought an explosion would win this scene, but I think it won as it was different to the others.

Did anyone see her on the red carpet, because I haven't seen any pics of her, I saw the one that plays Aaron in the background of someone doing an interview, but never saw Isabel.

I'm shocked that Hollyoaks won nothing, thought they would win public vote, and a few of the panel, but to win nothing.

The panel vote needs looking into, Emmerdale should have at least won 2 aswell as Hollyoaks winning 2, dont watch Doctors, but I heard it was brill last year.

BTW this is Lukes second win for Emmerdale involving water and for Best Scene, just thought I would share that little fun fact ;D

Could you imagine if Luke was there, the press would have a field day with that, he will probably be mentioned when they announce the win, as he was involved in the scene.

I hate when Corrie and Eastenders win, but they had great storylines up for last year, this year Corrie hasn't been good so far, so maybe next year Emmerdale may win a few more.

Yeah Luke won with the one who plays Belle, and it happened to be on Xmas day aswell

Just watched the awards, didn't think that we would have a Daria audio at the beginning of the montage, but we did (sort of). Isabel's face was hilirious when they won the award, she was so not expecting to win. Loved the fact that they thanked Luke for what he had done in the scenes.

We had a Daria scene for Isabel's nomination, she sort of looked pissed when she didn't win, the camera kept going back to her to see her reaction.

I'm glad we got two Daria scenes last night. I particularly liked the second one where Vic tells Daz about the body because it was very good acting by Isabel. Having seen the clips they showed last night I definately think Isabel should've won that award. I didn't spot her looking annoyed, but I thought she looked really shocked when they got Spectacular Scene. Alex Bain from Corrie looked really disappointed he didn't win the young actor one though ;D.

Really glad Luke got a mention as he obviously put a lot of work into that scene. Would've preferred to have Isabel do the speech rather than that guy (I'm guessing he was the director) but I'm guessing she didn't want to or something

something that was rather interesting at the start when they showed clips from all soaps the black screen with the word emmerdale came up and whos voice comes on? daz almost like hes representing emmerdale.im seriously wondering if somethings changed having his voice over the name of the soap says a lot,.. as ITV before was like how he had showed emmerdalr up or whatever they said yet its his voice over thats on the clip of the name of emmerdale maybe Im reading too much into it but dont think I am , thats such a big thing

I agree Jules it did seem like daz and Vic were representing Emmerdale from the Montage, I was expecting it to be Jasmine and Debbie. It does seem a bit fishy that ITV showed alot of Daria, considering he represented them in a 'bad' way, if anything it showed Emmerdale and ITV what an asset Luke is to Emmerdale.

I was glad the director mentioned Luke in the Speech, was totally not expecting that to happen.

Glad a Daria clip was shown for Isabels nomination (she was robbed), they could have easily shown her with Diane or anyone else, but showed Daria because it was a great part of Emmerdale over the last few months.

Wasn't expecting an interview with Isabel in the Aftershow party, but god doesnt she talk a mile a minute , cannot believe there wasn't a stunt double for the lake (I thought there was) the presenters thought there was and were quite shocked

Thanks for the interview clip Jules. God Isabel doesn't half talk, she was like an express train when she got going ;D. It's really great that she didn't use a stunt double, she must be really proud that she did all that herself. I suppose it makes the award more special because it's recognising her work rather than the work of a stunt double.

yeah she sounded so excited didnt she?lol and good for her ,for doing her own stunts as some would probbaly just want the stunt double to do it .so its great she did it all herself and as you say emma it made winning the award even more special:)
