Okay, just bought the Soaplife and in an interview with Gavin Blyth (series producer) he is writing out Jake , Mick , Lee and Lily (we already knew this).

Not that surprised Jake being axed because he doesn't really do anything. He's not had a big story of his own that I can think of, just been a minor character in some storylines (Daria last week and the Daniel/Arthur baby swap are all I can think of right now). I suppose they haven't really given him much of a chance to gain fans, and there was probably more potential for some kind of love/relationship storyline wih him being one of the best looking cast members ;D. The only thing is if they're getting rid of Jake it could reduce the chances of Daz coming back . Don't give a damn about Mick, he's so boring and adds nothing to the show. Lee could've been alright. At first I wanted him to get with Katie purely to annoy Nathan but I'm not that interested in his character anymore. Lily is so-so but I doubt her leaving will have much affect on the show. To be honest I'm expecting a few new castings this year, possibly a black/asian family. Emmerdale has a very white cast at the moment, and whilst it doesn't bother me, I'm sure the PC brigade have issues with it. We've already seen Corrie making steps in this direction with Tara, Poppy and Tara's parents (their names escape me right now). I think Eastenders have done similar things as well . I think they will be trying to even out any race and age imbalances when they are creating new characters. We could maybe do with some more younger people, say in their mid 20s, to liven things up a bit. I can't really think of many in their 20s , most seem to be teens, middle-aged or old lol.

Hope it doesnt effect the chances of Daz returning, because the Producer stated that he has no intensions of getting rid of the Sugdens and Daz was technically part of the Sugden family. Plus in the Inside soap it had a part in the Hot Gossip scetion about Luke's Axing, but it had extra from the editor saying that he won't be reprising the role as Daz Eden, which I found odd, meaning they could be recasting the role I liked Lee at first, because he pissed Andy off with the whole Jo thing ;D, then wanted him to get with Katie, but they made him way too shy, then turned him a bit evil I agree they need to make Emmerdale more mixed race, they have Leyla, I think that her family could turn up, because they sound like they want to get intouch, possible future storyline

I really don't want them to recast Daz, it just wouldn't be the same. If they did that then Luke would probably never return (although there was that recasting with Daniella Westbrook in Eastenders). At least if they don't recast Daz there could be a chance that Luke will return in a year or two (such a long time ) to reunite Daria ;D.

They could use Elliott, the say he wasn't up to scratch and Luke could return , I agree Luke could return within a year, alls depends on his trial, whether they deem his time as good behaviour, putting him on a warning, you watch when he gets out there will be rumors going round. That Eastenders Sam is well confusing, I liked the original she was firey similar to Bianca, the last one was so different, it was like another character, she was so easily manipulated , wonder what the original Sam is like now Did you watch This Morning, found it very strange that Sharon never spoke about Luke being Axed

I honestly can't see Elliot taking over the role of Daz. Even if they offered him the part he'd probably turn it down on principle because they sacked his brother. Also, being friends with a few sets of twins myself, I would imagine they'd want to be considered as separate actors rather than being one entity. I know they used to share the role on Shameless, but that's not uncommon for child actors.
I don't know much about the Eastenders situation as I don't watch it, I'm just basing it on what I've read in the papers. Daniella Westbrook was involved with drugs though wasn't she and they've taken her back.
Never really watch This Morning. I would imagine ITV want to distance themselves from any association with Luke with his sentencing being tomorrow, hence why Daz left last week before Luke is (most likely) sent to prison.

I really dont think that Elliott would either, its just a suggestion, but to be honest they shouldn't recast his character.
Daniella Westbrook was a druggie, got fired (I think) lost her nose, got a new one. But they recast her, only for them to write her out two years later (I think), she is supposed to be on the run from the police, love to see what way they will get round that, to be honest it was terrible when Sam's character was last in it.
Suppose they are distancing themselves from his trial, we know he will serve time.

Theres going to be a triangle with Katie/Ryan(James)/Nathan another Sugden triangle .lol It says in the Inside Soap Stop Press section that "Emmerdale actor Luke Tittensor has been officially axed from the show, following his decision to plead guilty to a charge of GBH. ITV said it could not "condone criminal behaviour", so Luke will not reprise the role of Daz Eden" Unsure of the words typed in the Mag, but there was nothing in Soaplife, which I found quite weird and his name is still in the Characters section in Soaplife which can mean nothing but still weird

Awwwww bless his little cotton socks, ialways knew he would be written out eventually, sooner than later as his character does...NOTHING, other than being in the background occasionally, and as now Daz is gone, he doesn't have any proper friends, ahh they could have made him a decent charcacter...ahh bye Jake, i'll miss little chef
I kinda like Nathan now, he is quite umm pretty?? lol, but i hate Katie, as she's a meddling so and so,
