Does appear to be a little strange to represent them, but maybe the event was already booked, and he decided to go ahead with it might do him some favours, you never know the producers might realise he's still popular with the fans despite everything thats happened, you never know they might have a rethink and take him back!

this is odd im veryconfused by it lol
because once someoes axed they are basically not involved anything the soap is to do with,so on one side they would get someone else todo it and considering they made this big thing about not condoning things and that painted emmerdale in a bad light or whatever they said this is really odd
So I find this very interesting along with the fact he was mentioned and loads of clips were shown at the soap awards. it just seems rather interesting I seriously hope it is signs that they are rethinkingI really hope so

Hopefully it does cos otherwise it's just them putting mixed messages out there,like Luke's been axed from the show cos we can't be seen to be condoning violent behaviour,but then letting him in a charity football match on Emmerdale's team as well,makes no sense really lol,but I am with Jules on this one,maybe someone at ITV's actually listening to us and the other fans and reconsidering.
